Amen Sharon! This reminds me of the story of Abraham and the Lord telling him to sacrifice his son. The Lord didn't actually want him to kill his son he wanted to see if he would be obedient. I'll continue to pray for you both but the Lord is good.

Hi Sharon... I've been battling with going ahead and filing especially since my husband deleted me from Facebook recently. I feel so stuck and defeated... we aren't communicating, I don't know what he's out there doing. So I definitely understand why you feel the need to do what you're doing. I want all marriages here restored but I'll be praying for you, that you are led by the Holy Spirit to do what you need to do. I'm also like a few of the others here, wondering if I'm not really meant to stand, wondering if this is just me not wanting to let go. I will continue to pray for all of us here... some of the posts I see break my heart and bring me to tears. Happy Saturday everyone  |

Lindsey I am going to pray for clarity from God for you. God often works in places where we can't see. Your husband deleted you, but maybe that is him feeling conviction from God and pushing as hard as he can against it. He obviously has you on his heart and mind if he felt compelled to do it. I pray it is God convicting him, but remember to count our suffering as pure joy. It's so hard to do it, but try anyways. Press hard into God and force yourself to tell him thank you I trust you even if you don't because eventually you will. I also know we all struggle with the idea of should we actually be standing but we have to remember that everything God says is fully truth and his word itself says he does not want divorce. He wants restoration. Wives be a godly example to your husband so that if he does not know God, he may be won over by your faithfulness. Also, sister you are here! How did you end up on a marriage restoration page if God did not lead that?! The enemy sneaks in to kill and destroy and he begins with whispers of doubt. He is a liar and nothing he says is good or true. God led you here with a purpose to give you strength to stand.

Wow Sharon, your reply made me bawl lol. Thank you so much for your perspective on my situation. I never looked at it as God could be convicting my husband but he could be pushing against it. Also, being led to this page was definitely God. I needed this! Thank you again girl!

Please join me in prayer. Chris has come up with several excuses of why he can't do the every mans battle now in Denver and I KNOW this is the enemy. He often uses the military and work to stand in between Chris and God because he is a very hard worker and he feels deep obligation and loyalty, but this is distracting. I prayed and God reminded me of Mary and Joseph, when Mary had to somehow convince Joseph to believe that this child was Gods and not another mans. Impossible. And he didn't believe it. But God interceded and sent an angel on Marys behalf to reveal the truth and I believe that God can and will do this. I told him that I feel that we should register him for the seminar in faith that God will make a way and he hasn't responded, but I am praying that God reveals to him that it is His will and Chris would do it out of faith. That God will move the work and military obligations out of the way and that God would stoke down the enemy with his own weapon! Please join me in prayer for this.

When I said I believe we should register him, he responded that if he is able to go he will. So I am just being hopeful. I am going to register him as soon as we get the money together for it!
