Hi folks. I see that the group is mostly inactive but for anyone who find themselves checking in here, I have huge praises of the Goodness and faithfulness of God.
I appologize for being inactive. I have laid low and been hesitant to share because I dont want to damage the restoration, but I can share privately on here.
A couple years ago I went on a spiritual retreat and asked for God for movement. The mentor praying in agreeement with me shared that the last sermon at her church had been miracles follow movement. Well God answered my prayer with Miracles. God showed me that the restoration of our marriage was a process. It would happen incrementally. We now have a good marriage. It will never be perfect but we have been blessed.
Fall of 2019 I had a Cancer scare followed by a surgery to remove a growing tumor in the left side of my face (in a major salivary gland). My surgery was Christmas Eve 2019 and went well. The health scare contributed to a major breakthrough in our relationship and restoration. It highlighted a fear of genuinely lossing eachother. It highlighted love that was still there. It highlighted a desire to live our lives together and amend wrongs.
The year 2020 was in many ways difficult but did bless us with much time spent together as a family and more security in restoration. Shortly after my recovery Justin was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and we are still making changes to live healthier. The Covid pandemic has been financially difficult for us, but family has seen us through.
I am looking forward to 2021. We are still working towards financial and physical health, but we are restored and building upwards from here.
