Hi all! Its been a good and amazingly calm tax season. The joy I've had in my heart these last several years has overlapped into my work life....I praise the Lord. Ive felt good physically. I haven't run any 5k's since my accident, but Im feeling good so I signed up for one at the end of April in Waco TX! One of my sisters will run with me. Im so excited to visit Magnolia...Chip and Joanna's store from Fixer Upper! I joined a boot camp gym to help with the training 3 weeks ago.
Meanwhile i go in 2x yr for mole checks....they usually cut, freeze 4 or 5 every appt. Over the years Ive had 4 MOHS surgeries for basal cells. I was just there in Nov, but I've had this super itchy mole on my low back for a month so I went in unplanned...my next scheduled appt isnt until May.....they cut off 2 and froze 2....and did a biopsy of one on my hamstring. It came back Melanoma. I have surgery this Tues....please pray. I praise God that the itchy mole led to the Dr. finding this. Im nervous. I also cant workout for 14 days while I have stitches. So just when I'm feeling good...bam....the enemy attacks. The Dr. says I may not be able to run that soon....so please pray that the enemy is defeated in that too.
Dana and I are doing well...he comes by all the time...we talk every day....a miracle compared to where I was 4 years ago. Our God is awesome!
