Just wanted to update..
It’s been a long time since I’ve been on..
Tony came back and stayed for about 4 months.
It was awful.. he treated me terribly, but for the most part I just served him, submitted to him, and pressed into the Lord.
There were 2 times when I told him he might as well just leave. I quickly took it back and apologized the first time.
The second time was when he left for good..
He wasn’t coming home for days sometimes.. he was having hardly anything to do with the children and I.
I just knew something was going on. He would want to be intimate, but then would leave for days and not tell me where he was going or anything. So one day, he was on the phone telling me he won’t be coming home tonight again. So I said, “so then when will you be moving it at your moms?” assuming that’s what he was eventually going to do anyways.. he said, “this weekend”..
so he came to our daughters 2nd birthday, and that was the last time they have seen him. She will now be 4 in 3 months..
a week or so later, he was supposed to babysit while I went to my dr app. I called and he answered being very unusually haughty.
I asked if he was around some friends or something because he was acting all rude.. he said, “yea, actually I’m with my girl”
I was in shock.. I said, “oh, well I was just asking about the babysitting.. and he cut me off & said “f*** you” and hung up.
So needless to say, I was hurting for a few days; in a bit of a shock.
But the Lord is good & He carried me through it.
He’s been faithful to help me raise the children also, and comfort them through the loss of their dad again.
I planned to contuine standing for tony regaurdless of him having a girl friend. I was pressing into the Lord and studying many doctrines and coming into more truths. I left the big mega church I was in. I actually stopped listening to Christian contemporary music, as I believe the majority of it is affiliated with the illuminati.
The Lord was just showing me much truth.
Meanwhile, tony and his girlfriend had gotten pregnant with their now daughter. (Who he named the same name as our daughter) he emailed me saying he would like to remove his last name from the children & was interested in disowning them. Other than this email, we had no communication.
I met a brother in the Lord on fb, and he was also standing for his wife who divorced him 6 years ago. We had fellowship on that topic often, just encouraging eachother to stand. We realized we were like-minded on all other beliefs/ biblical doctrines also.
We were studying the divorce and remarriage doctrine, and realized that were actually no longer bound to our previous spouses because we weren’t born again at the time we were married and neither were our spouses.. and both of our spouses had become non-believers and had departed & divorced us. we both thought that since it was our first marriage, that we were bound until death. But once the Lord showed us the truth on the matter, and it seemed as if the Lord had brought us togther, we began courting. Shortly after we married in the Lord. It’s been about 2 years since tony left again, and 6 months since my husband Jaime & I have been married.
Things have actually been pretty rough for us lately.. we’ve been arguing quite a bit. The honeymoon stage is fading I believe, and we’re working on communicating with eachother without malice and with sincerity and genuiness. It’s been a challenge, but I just praying that the Lord help us and keep me in His truth.
