This is YouVersion's verse of the day today:
“Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is his name: Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known." (Jeremiah 33:2-3)
Just a reminder that if we reach out to Him in prayer, He always answers. And He will reveal His wonderful plans for our lives.
Which of course reminds me of this verse, one that I know is special for many of us, although I think in particular of Sharon: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
Let's keep reaching out to our amazing God in prayer, my friends. For me this is a matter of digging back into the relationship with God that I used to have, which I set to one side and stopped prioritizing. I am reminded now over and over again how much I need Him, every day!

Thanks so much for sharing this Adrienne. I have been having a hard time in the daily grind recently. It just feels like Day in and day out the same thing. Maybe it is a defense mechanism I am putting up because Chris is gone, but I feel like even though I'm going to church, reading my bible, spending time listening to Christian music, etc, that it's all just me being in a daze. A sermon the other day, the pastor talked about Paul's verse that says "wake up sleeper". And even that I was in a haze, but I have been trying harder to press in. How do I come out of the fog? But maybe this is something God is using to protect me too. Thank you for this though Adrienne.

I have had the same feeling Sharon, of being in a daze of sorts. I don't have any great advice... I think sometimes it is a matter of being aware and trying to take small daily steps to consciously reach out to our God. Praying for you, sister.
