Hello, friends!
G and I have found a house and are now in the due diligence period. We had the inspection yesterday and found out some things that don't look great, and it has caused some tension. We had a big fight yesterday about how to handle it.
I am trying to keep calm and respectful as we go through this process.
Can you please help me/us pray that everything will work out according to God's plan, that we'll know how to listen and pay attention to God's plan (!!) so we can follow His will, that we can be respectful and loving despite the stress?
Thanks friends. It looks like the group has been pretty quiet here lately but I continue in prayer for you all, always <3

They say that the whole moving process is one of life's most stressful events. So even in the midst of the excitement there will be problems. First of all....I'm so happy for you both! That's such an accomplishment! Then there is the whole permanency issue....the commitment you are both quietly displaying that your relationship will survive for many years to come....PTL!

Thanks for pointing that out, TK! I had sort of thought about the commitment thing, but not necessarily that clearly, and it's nice to hear it from someone else. <3

I will pray for wisdom for you both Adrienne. It is very important to lean on the wisdom of G too. This is a great opportunity to be respectful to him, even if you don't agree with him. I remember having these problems too when we were buying our house. Remember sister that God has a plan and it's better then ours! My sister put an offer on 2 different houses that fell through, then they waited a few months because they were discouraged. But when they started looking again, they were able to find the exact house they wanted and for a better price then they were hoping. God was saying no to them about the first two houses because He had a better plan. It was discouraging at the time, but Gods plans are always best sister, so don't disclude him from what you are working on.

Thanks for that advice, Sharon! I realized that I was really disrespecting G with all my doubt and lack of confidence in him. I was reminded about how I am supposed to respect my husband and submit to him, and I have really really been working on that although as a naturally anxious person, it's hard for me. God has been working on us, for sure!
Right now we are waiting on the owner's response to our request for repairs. Things are looking good... if the deal goes through, the house will be ours in less than 2 weeks! I am trying hard to pray for God's will and not just focus on my own wants. I really do want His plan, not mine, although that can be hard to negotiate at times especially when we're so excited! I'm praying for clear signs and for God's plan to happen, no matter what we do!
