Hello, dear friends,
It has been a while since I've been on here - I've been so busy with school and life that I've allowed myself to get a bit distant.
Next week (Monday) I will be defending my prospectus at school (basically asking for approval to start work on my dissertation), I'm teaching two extra classes for someone on maternity leave, and G and I are starting in the process of buying a house. Throughout all the "busy-ness," I can feel God's hand in our marriage... G is more loving than ever and I know that's 100% GOD! All of this stuff going on is stressful but my G has been a rock for me and I am praying hard for God to continue to guide us to negotiate all the stress peacefully and lovingly.
I have been a bit distant from God just because of how busy I am, but since my grandmother's passing almost exactly a month ago, my relationship with God has been weighing heavily on my heart. I know now I need Him more than ever.
I have been quiet but I continue in prayer for you all. I've missed connecting with you all through this forum and I hope to be better about doing so again now.
