Lord we have had so many storms in our group these last few weeks and many of us are feeling hopeless. We pray you would show us the hope ahead of us so that we can continue our race. We stand in faith knowing that you will do miracles for each of us in your own time and we stand together as a church of your children. Please remind us all that we are not forsaken and that you are working, even if we can't see it. Please God put your peace over each of us.

I pray that the holy spirit works in each of us....that our families, friends and prodigal spouses all see our strength. I pray that each of our marital situations improves a little so that we can praise god in the storm. I pray for our protection from the enemy....as good increases so does evil. I pray, by the blood of Jesus Christ, that satan and his demons will depart from our lives and our prodigals. I also pray for the unspoken prayers we all have. I pray that the lord shows each of us a positive little miracle that continues our hope. God bless...luv you guys!

I have two requests. One, tomorrow is my little sister's birthday, and two I want to ask for strength and wisdom tomorrow. I work in the sound booth at my church service, normally running the video projector. Tomorrow 's service it appears I will be running both the projector and the soundboard itself. I will be honest I am intimidated by that piece of hardware.
Father I come to you tonight, along with my fellow stander, seeking blessings and guidance. Lord, several of us have had very strong attacks from the enemy recently. Father we know these attacks only come because of the blessings we have already received and those that are just over the horizon. Father God, speak to our hearts. Like a gentle wind blowing through the leaves. Move those things in our lives, those things both within us and from without that may hinder us from hearing or following you. Give us strength to resist temptations, courage to speak out and proclaim your glory and the gospel, wisdom to follow where you lead, peace and comfort to trust in you. Lord, let your will rain down upon us, let it guide us to the path you have chosen for us. Father touch our prodigals, touch our family, let your love flow through us so that they can bask in your warmth. May you envelop them like freshly a freshly laundered towel. Clean, fresh, pure. Lord, thank you the blessings you have bestowed upon us. This community, your salvation, places where we can be your light into the world. Thank you for today's gifts of a job, a place to live, food on our tables, family that loves us, and above all your grace and mercy. Father, I love you, and I thank you for all these things and more. In your name I pray, Amen!

Lord I thank you and praise you for this group of people put into each of our lives. I pray that each of us be the encouragement we need when things get hard. I pray that each of our minds and hearts are renewed and that we walk through this trial with grace and mercy. Give us the strength we need to continue on and the ability to fully lay our burdens down at your feet so that we may pick up your joy, hope, and love. May you continue the work that you are doing in each of our spouses and that even when we can't see it give us the faith to know that you are working. Let our will align with your will. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

I always pray a bit early on Tuesdays because at church we have a prayer service every Tuesday. I prayed for all of us there tonight and we were also praying for health as several congregation members are sick. Just as it is important to pray for physical health it is also important to pray for emotional and spiritual health, which I believe is rooted in how much we are trusting God and leaning on Him...
I will continue praying for you during this week (as always) - Eric, I'll have your specific petitions in mind! Happy birthday to your sister! And bless you for your technological work at church. I am somewhat technologically challenged and I love seeing the proof of how God blesses us each differently with unique gifts!
In terms of encouraging prayer, I have a weekly Bible study with some colleagues at school and we have been reading through Galatians. This week we had Galatians 5 and I have been feeling really called to pray about the fruits of the Spirit. I urge you all to do the same (as it has been very moving for me!)... Let's aim to walk (or stand) with the Spirit and in God's guidance and grace.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23)

Thank you for sharing about the fruit of the Spirit! He says that by their fruit we will know them. A good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree produce good fruit. I pray that we would see the fruit of the Spirit manifest in our spouses and in our own lives Lord. That you would allow us in your time to see this and know that their hearts have been won by you.
