Hello everyone!
First off a praise report: I passed my oral exam this week! Yay!
And now a prayer request: I have my written exams this weekend. They send me the questions today at 3pm and I have until Monday at 9am to write my heart out. Can you please pray for me, for strength and wisdom to get this done?
Once this is over I hope to be more active in the group again but I have continued in prayer for you all and miss talking to you all more regularly <3

Hey everyone! Thanks for praying! I am finally done and have been exhausted and resting this week after working more than 30 hours this weekend, just writing. Now I just have to wait to get the results - hopefully by Monday!

Hi Sharon! I just got the results on Monday but have been so busy that I haven't found a moment to post. I passed!! I got two "high passes" and then the third person gave me the lowest possible passing grade on his question. I have been feeling disappointed about the one low grade (and anxious about how it will go when I work with this person on my dissertation) and not focusing enough on the awesomeness of just making it past this huge milestone... I confess that mistake and I have been trying to turn that attitude around today and get excited again about progressing towards my dissertation!
I thank you for your prayers and although I'm struggling a bit to get back in the zone (with everything), I am working on it and have you guys in my thoughts always <3

Congrats! Don't be anxious about working with the one who gave you a low grade - turn him over to God. He will give you His peace.

Yes, I agree with Pat! Pray for this professor every day and do everything you can to make a good impression when you do work with them. I am certain they will be invaluable in your next steps to get your degree!
