Deployments

Y'all know my fears. Chris has always cheated on me on every deployment. And God knows my fears too and He gave me a promise the other day. Our pastor was talking about a story God gave to him about a young man who was playing soccer and broke his leg. That his father ran to comfort the boy and keep him from panic. That our Heavenly Father is that comfort for us. His story went on that as the boy was healing and his leg was starting to feel better, he asked the Doctor could he play again. Could he trust the leg that had been broken? And the Doctor told him he could trust it. That it would not fail. That part resonated for me as the promise. That our marriage was broken, but it is healing. That I can trust Chris. That he will not fail. I don't have to be afraid of the deployment. It will be good. I'm claiming that promise.
