Cody

I have told y'all bout our friend Cody in prison before. I am asking for prayers for him over the next several months. He really needs the Lords intervention in his situation. He's exhausted his appeals and so his last hope for freedom is to have his sentence reduced. As it stands, he won't up for parole until 2043 (26 years more and he's already done 5 years. He is 30 now). He has asked me to write a letter on his behalf about what I observed when we were all together and I did, but today God put on my heart to write a different letter explaining the man he is becoming because of Gods intervention and the promises God has made about his life. I did write it. The Holy Spirit gave me the words. I am praying now that Cody would choose to include it in his resentencing, that he would own those promises for his life and that he would allow the spirit into his life to transform him into this man that I know God has made him to be. And that the judge would see him transformed by the spirit and would approve his reduction of sentence. I have also been praying for his ex Ashton who is the "victim" in the case who has him put away. Hard to pray for her, not God loves her too and has a purpose for her too. She tried to reach out to me on Facebook the other day and I messaged her back. I am going to start regularly speaking life to her, even if she doesn't respond because I believe God has something he is doing in her heart too, so please join me in prayer for her too.
