As I was praying about our group today, I felt God telling me that 2017 is the year for our group. Guys get ready, because God is about to move mountains in our marriages. Let's focus better, pray harder, and stay on our knees until they are hurting. Our harvests are coming in brothers and sisters. Let's make sure we are deep in the Lords presence so that when our prodigals look at our face, they see Jesus and that demon that holds them is immediately ejected from the picture. It's coming! God is on the move!

I was traveling to my daughters today so I took the opportunity to pray for each of you and your spouse by name. I prayed as specific as I could from the details I know about your situations.
Sharon, it doesn't take long for these old knees to start hurting! Lol

Your right Sharon! It's tax season and I'm 2 weeks in, the usual heavy load. And guess what? Dana prepared 2 dinners and left them for me last week...so thoughtful! It's got God written all over it! PTL almighty!

I am in the process of writing our testimony for our marriage. I don't know why I am writing except that I feel strongly compelled that it is necessary. I am just so excited for all of us and can't wait to see what God is going to do here. We are about to change from a group of standers to a group of restored marriages, but God won't be finished with us then. He is going to use us all to help restore others too. Others restored to a love of the Lord and other marriages restored also. I read about how marriage is a present and living symbol of Gods relationship with the church. Guys, the Lord loves the church deeply, even when some members do not love Him. He wants more then anything for that relationship to be restored between him and his followers, so you can understand how strongly he feels about restoration in marriage. I mean it brothers and sisters. He does not call everybody to stand. He has called us to it. For his glory. Because his plan is for restoration of our marriages for his glory.

I have been standing for my marriage since 2013. At the time I was beginning my stand, my co-worker was deep in the throes of marital woes. Her story was similar to mine, her husband worked away for many years, had an affair, they grew apart, etc. In her case there are no children involved. She divorced him in 2015 - I tried hard to get her to reconsider, but she refused. I have been praying for marriage restoration for them since the beginning of their problems. God is working a miracle in their lives. She spent two weeks with him at Christmas. They talk everyday, several times a day. Their marriage is being restored - there is a change in both their hearts.
