Hi all! Wanted to give you an update. We've had marriage counseling session #9 this week. Dana's anger is noticeably controlled in the last couple of months, which i think is a great testament to the trauma counseling he also gets individually each week. The anger is still there towards me and my family, but i see God working, softening his heart.
He went shopping with me, to the mall, last weekend....which is remarkable, because he doesn't shop, ever. We had pizza and he even helped wrap the gifts I've been collecting.....again, something he has never done. ..wrapping.
In the last 3 days I've seen 3 different trucks, while driving around to clients......one each day, I'm sure signs of hope for me:

Amazing.....right?!
And then yesterday was heartwarming. I had to come back to my home office for a remote login session with my 2nd client. During my client session Dana showed up with Kaden (our 13yr old granddaughter) both carrying bunches of gifts, and definitely surprised to see me home! They were playing elves....they had been to Costco and loaded up the back of Dana's jeep with food for our local food bank. He hasn't done something like that in yrs. Anyway, they came here to wrap everything...again I'm in awe!
Then last night, out of the blue he calls and invites me to dinner with him and our daughter, Sabrina, and her family. I was so excited! I got to the restaurant, walked in and there were my parents! They were having dinner with their friends. They came by our table as they were leaving. They have only seen Dana once since he left 2 yrs ago. The holy spirit was there.....everyone was smiling
My dad invited Dana to Christmas, saying he was always welcome. Dana declined, but you could tell he was moved by the gesture! They miss him too, after all, we've been together 20 yrs. The whole episode seems so coincidental, but...i know it was all God!
