Hi friends!
I'm posting to remind all of us (myself included) to be praying not only for our marriages and those of people on this group that we have come to know, but for marriages everywhere! Think of your pastor, the people in your congregation, family members and friends, and just the world at large. We all know that the enemy hates good, Christian marriages and wants to destroy them, and we need to be praying for this cause.
With that in mind, I also want to ask for prayer specifically for two couples...
1) A church sister, Miriam, and her husband Alfredo. I have talked to her about this page but she doesn't speak English. I told her we would come together in prayer. She is tired of feeling unloved and has been thinking about separating from her husband but I've been encouraging her to pray and focus on God. I also suggested the Love Dare to her.
2) A school friend, Natalie - She separated from her husband over the summer. We're not very close so I'm not sure of the specifics, and she said she doesn't see herself getting back together. She defined herself as a "sort of" Christian. Again, I told her about the page and shared a little of my own testimony. Even if she is not ready now to think about reconciliation, I know she's in a very hard place emotionally and I would appreciate you guys helping me support her in prayer.
I also want to call for prayer for our friends who haven't been on this page recently... and for those who were on the original K-love group that never came over to this page. I'm thinking about:
- Chip (wife Kayla)
- Adrian (unknown wife's name)
- Misty (husband Matt)
- Sarah G. (unknown husband's name, he's a military man)
- Sarah F. (and Jamison)
- Cory D.
- Cory. M
- Leanna (husband Justin)
- Mal
- Annie (husband Lucas)
- Wendy (husband Chris, I think)
- Kristi (username Kridycat, unknown husband's name)
- Manuel
There may be other people that I didn't think of (feel free to comment their names if so!) but let's just please stand in prayer for marriages everywhere! The world needs more prayer warriors to stand in the breach.
God bless!
