Can't get it together!

Sometimes it can feel like the devil's biggest weapon is our feelings. Our flesh, our sinful nature loves to turn to things that can so easily blind us to the truth. Momentary "feelings" of pleasure can mask the guilt, the hurt, or the anger that can come after doing something we know isn't good and pure.
You once reminded me of Philipians 4:8, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Adrianne, the enemy only gets to touch our emotions because we arnt taking each though captive to Christ. Especially when we've been lazy with it recently, then he has a foothold. The hardest task I've ever done (not that be accomplished it yet) Is to take EACH idle thought captive to Christ & rebuke the enemy with scripture EACH time during EVERY type of circumstance!
But it's what were called to do.. So much more power avalible to & through us if only we would do this very simple yet very difficult task. I am lifting you up tonight sister! Hope you have a blessed night!
