Dear friends,
The school semester is starting back this week and I've already been feeling the pressure.
I'll be taking my doctoral exams this semester (in Latin American literature), and I've decided I need to push the date back from September 20th to November 15th. I'm a bit terrified to ask my director's permission, so I would really appreciate your prayers that the conversation will go well! I meet with him tomorrow (Tuesday) at 2pm EST.
I would also appreciate prayers to be able to work effectively throughout this semester (prepping for these exams and teaching) while also keeping my eyes on God and being a good wife. My husband has been very supportive so I pray that I can appreciate that and always see God at work despite my own stress.
