Hey all, today my wife called me. We don't talk much anymore since she left. I am giving her space and standing in the gap in prayer for her. Today she called, looking for her financial aid, asking if it came to my address. She said she changed her permanent address but hasn't received the money for school.
After the call, she asked if I wanted to go to an NFL game with her and her family. The family loves me and would love for me to come. She seemed a little hesitant to invite me, and I was invited after her roommate couldn't make it. But I was still on her mind I guess.....
When we were hanging up, I told her I loved her and she said, "I love you too". It is the second time she has said it since she left almost three months ago. It seemed a little forced, but I'll take it.
I don't know what to do as far as the game. I would love prayer and some God-centered advice. Do I go and spend time with her and the family or should I let her have space with the family?
Thanks guys. I appreciate you.

I'd say go Tyler, one thing is you telling her to go out and another is she inviting you, she is not being forced she does it because she wants to. I'll be praying for you.

I agree if she asked then go, I will pray over it & encourage you to spend time with God before you go. It will be hard not to concentrate on her...family...you & her try to keep your mind set on God, and His spirit within you.

I agree with William that you should go, but surround yourself with the Lord by spending time deep in his spirit for the next few days until the game. I think this is an opportunity God is giving you to be a witness of his life in you. Especially that her friend couldn't make it, that was God providing a way where there was none.
