So, for those that may not know. I work in the sound booth at my church. I run the PowerPoint slides during praise and worship and for the sermon. As such, the Pastor emails me the sermon before the service so we can download it on our phones, as the church doesn't have Internet service.
Tomorrow 's sermon is over Mark 4:34-41 (KJV) "And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?" And it's titled, "I'll keep sailing, in spite of the storm!" just seems kind of fitting for us.

The sermon focused on Mark 4:40 "And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?" This had 2 points he made, that God doesn't give us a spirit of fear. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV bible.com/1/2ti.1.7.KJV And the 2nd point that they believed that Jesus could save them, that he could "fix it", but not in themselves that they could bind the the storm in the authority of Jesus. Christian keep sailing in spite of the storm!
