Hello again friends,
I wanted to share another awesome praise report; we are two for two this weekend! (Two great praises in two days! Hallelujah!)
Y'all know that I go to a Hispanic church. Well we rent from an American church and every couple of months we have a combined service with both congregations and I always interpret for them. It's a lot of fun and good practice for me. Today we were set to have one and then my church was going to have a cookout afterwards.
I invited G to both a few days ago, not really thinking he would come to anything.. but he said "maybe." This morning he told me he wouldn't come to the service but he might come to the cookout.
And he did end up going to it!! While he was there with me he was really polite to all the congregation members (though he mainly only talked with one who is also a work friend), and he was extremely physically and verbally affectionate with me even in front of everyone. After we left he thanked me at least three times for inviting him and for being "such a good wife" and said he really enjoyed it!
Huge, huge praise. The last time he went to anything at all church-related was roughly a year ago, and he left the church two and half years ago. Praise God!
