"The Path"

The day darkens to night as clouds roll in,
drop by drop rains cover the ground.
Thunder so loud you can't hear other sounds...
I'm walking the path, rain covering my skin...
I don't know where I'm going, but know I had to begin.
Thinking to myself...
How did I end up here?
Walking the path, rain covering my skin...
Flashes of my life light up in the sky.
I look around...no one near or far as I can see.
Drop by drop rains cover the ground...
The marks of the path taken, are no longer around.
I cry out to God...Lord hear my voice,
I'm scared...lost...& feel all alone...
"My dear child your walking the path that I have chosen.
My tears are the rain that comes pouring down.
For when the day darkens to night I will draw you near.
Your on the path that leads you to Me."
