So, my first court appearance is tomorrow. Like many of you , i will comply....reluctantly. (even though i haven't been served yet) So i found a Christian family law firm in town and met with them today. They started by praying. ...that's when i knew i made a good choice. They already filed my waiver of notice for court tomorrow. I am still not planning on being there.
So, Dana will go balistic because: 1. I'm not showing up for court even though he asked me to comply out of "respect" 2. I spent $ to hire an attorney. The way i see it, i wouldn't have a major surgery w/o consulting professionals, so same applies for this situation. (I wish i had the gumption to ask him to foot the bill, since he's divorce inclined)
I dont want him to take this negatively, so im trying to write him a quick email. I would appreciate creative writing advice.

TK, I don't really have any advice on either account... but I will be praying for you tonight with this in mind. And I know you know this but pray before and during writing the email.

Lord, I pray that you would give TK the words you need her to speak to open Dana's heart. There is a lot going on, but Lord thank you so much for reigning over this situation! Thank you so much for leading TK to a Christian attorney, who is going to be able to help her spiritually also through this. Please help her to keep her eyes focused on you and to trust in you, no matter what happens.

TK, My sister, I have prayed and felt God lead me to a verse in Matthew to share with you, it is
Matthew 13:13-17 The reason I speak to them in parables is that ‘seeing they do not perceive, and hearing they do not listen, nor do they understand.’ With them indeed is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah that says: ‘You will indeed listen, but never understand, and you will indeed look, but never perceive. For this people’s heart has grown dull, and their ears are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes; so that they might not look with their eyes, and listen with their ears, and understand with their heart and turn— and I would heal them.’But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. Truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it.
Tk, When you chose to "stand" for your marriage you did so basing that decision after seeking, submitting and praying to God our Father. You chose to "see"...to "percieve"...to "hear and understand"...your heart was softened when GOd spoke to you and you chose to turn to him and he is healing you. Though the storm is dark, long and difficult you have still chose to see, hear, and understand what God has commanded you to do, and no matter what the world or people of the world may say to you about the storm your facing Gods glory will be revealed. A worldly peice of paper holds no accountablility to God. This is extrememly painful for me as much as it for you for I have already had to sign my wifes divorice papers. I take comfort in knowing that it is not "my" decision to stand but God comanding me to. A piece of paper will not bring healing...a piece of paper will not bring closure...nor will it bring peace to a hurting heart & soul, only our almighty loving Father can restore, reclaim and renew what has been hurt, lost and broken.
I will be praying for you my dear sister, and for your husband. Please know that you are loved by us all and feel free to contact me anytime, to vent, cry, yell, or pray. God love you & we love you TK.
