I joined this group a few months ago. I discovered my wife in an affair a few months prior to that. Rather than restore the marriage she decided to leave and continue the relationship with the other person. We have been living apart but I never gave up hope. Over the past many months I have been given advise by many well meaning Christian friends. They discouraged me from seeing and dating my wife. However, in prayer I always got a different message from God. His message was always: Hang in there. See your wife every opportunity you can. I and will create those opportunities. So I listened to God and took His advise. I continued to see and date my wife every opportunity I could. I got my heart broken a few more times but his "words" to me were always the same.
We had a planned date on Saturday April 16. The day before she was clear with me once again that she would go out with me, but wanted me to know that we would NEVER be husband and wife again. I said, I understand that is the way you feel today, but you may not feel this way at some point in the future.
On the morning of the 16th I hit my knees in prayer and demanded a miracle from God. I said I want a miracle today. I want my wife and family back TODAY. Well I am happy to report a miracle did occur. I won't go into all the details, but I was with her when she literally felt the vail lifted and the bindings cut. She instantly felt all the pain she had caused me and all that pain was put on her heart. I was there to forgive her, as Christ has forgiven me.
I share this as a true miracle and praise report. But also as a reminder to listen to God's voice first and foremost. He is the decider. He is working in all of our lives.
Thank you for your prayers,
Kyle
