I have had a stressful weekend, followed up by a rough day today. I worked late Thursday and Friday night, only to get a text message from my wife when I leave work Friday, that she had talked to the lawyers, that if we signed on May 11th and 12th, the divorce would be final June 6th (at least in the courts eyes). I ended up working 12 hours on Saturday, and after church service Sunday I went in and worked another 2.5 - 3 hours. Found out a childhood friend died back home. Today I have been manual labor setting up new office phones, climbing under desks, pulling network cabling. I stay late 2 hours and come home to her ex-husband's car in the drive way... I am physically and emotionally tired, and I know the enemy is attacking me hard. I sit down and pray for God to use my devotional app's evening devotional to speak to my heart today, to uplift me. And I open it to Romans 8:28! "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 KJV bible.com/1/rom.8.28.KJVThank you, Father! Thank you for this day, for this weekend, for this storm. Allow me to grow closer to you, to learn to lean on you more readily, that you aren't the last choice, the last resort, but rather the first choice, the go to answer! Thank you for opening my eyes. Amen.

Eric, i will be lifting you up in prayer today. Romans 8:28 holds extra special significance for me. When i first was separated from my husband i re-discovered an old bible my grandparents gave me when i was 10. My Sunday school teacher at the time wrote a bible verse inside the cover...she also dated it. It was Romans 8:28. I never realized the coincidence until recently. My wedding anniversary is 8/28.
God is so full of love. That one small event took years to fulfill. And here i am now praising him.
Stay strong, the hurt is real i know. Wishing you a blessed day!

Wow Eric you have really made an impact in my Stand. I think at the end of the day what you say it's true, that God is our first choice, our go to answer and that no matter what is going on in our lives everything work together for good to us that we love God. Don't give up brother I support you in prayer.
