I'm a emotional mess & he's almost here.. He called and herd I was upset and got mad as usual. He isn't sensitive to my emotions at all. If I have feelings other than happy & approval of him, it upsets him to the point where he will be so mean & stay bitter for days..

No emotional explosions from anyone, so that's good. Just the cold shoulder from Tony after him seeing I was upset.. I have school all day today & won't be able to spend time with the Lord, so hoping I'll b able to once I get home & really get my emotions in check.

Mary just let me say that God is always there. Even at work there are times when I need to take 30 seconds with God silently. Praying for you.

Hey Mary. I know the feeling. G is the same way when I am emotional; he can't stand it. I am glad there were no eruptions last night. I know it will be a long day today for you at school but remember that Paul tells us to "pray without ceasing." I take that to mean that even if we can't be on our knees in prayer, in the word, etc., we can pray throughout our day. Remember that the Spirit is always with you.
I pray that today you will have peace and strength and renewed JOY IN THE LORD... Remember this (I know it helps me when I'm at my worst) ... eyes on GOD, eyes off the husband!

Just keep praying like Adrienne said. Surround yourself with God and really pray that He give you peace and joy today! Don't let the enemy rob you of your peace and joy!

He's gone & im not nearly as upset.. Feeling a bit more thankful for the fact that he's even coming here
Hoping and praying my eyes stay on the Lord through the rest of the night, as he's not responding to my text now

God uses everything for His good Mary, even the emotional outbursts! I know people hate when you speak the truth! We live in this society where you can't convict someone of something they have done wrong, because you hurt their feelings and that's just wrong. Jesus didn't come to this earth to make us feel good. He told people the hard truth and they often didn't like it. In fact, the Pharisees hated him so much, they conspired to have him killed. The truth hurts sometimes and we have to speak it!
