Please pray for Tony.. He's been showing signs here & there of softening, but resisting. We just had a talk for a hour (extremely rare) We talked about how he can't let go of how much I hurt him before we separated. Most of this conversation was just about him & his feelings but I'm thankful because he usually holds everything inside.. The convo was a bit discouraging but also hopeful. There were parts where he would seem softened & open to reason. I sent him a text after our talk challenging him to strengthen his mind by stopping any negative thought & replacing it with a posative one. Please pray for the Father to draw Tony, that he would receive a revelation of Gods love from the Holy Spirit, & that he will finally surrender to Jesus! Prayers for strength & Christ love to flow in me & from me. Thank you!

Thanks! Yes tk, I noticed the similarities with your post.. I believe the real issue is that they hang onto the things we did wrong because for them to let them go & forgive, then that would require them to eventually change in the areas they need to.. & growing & changing is hard! I really feel that's why Tony holds onto it. He tried so hard to live for God about a year before we separated. He eventually gave up because it got too hard & he was decived in thinking God wasn't with him or helping him, so he slowly gave up. So the thought of him having to change & grow again is almost not a option at all because that will require him to trust Jesus. It's so sad that he feels that God left him, when in reality it was just the enemy lying to him! Lately, he seems to get pretty close to turning around at times then once he realizes he's also part of the problem & will have to grow, he retreats back to holding onto that hurt & blaming everything on me. It's sad how blind they are but they will be delivered in Jesus name! Christ is stronger than the enemy & the Lord has good plans for them!
