What do you think about this? I've come to know that a lot of it is very real.. A few days ago, I had a lazy day. Didn't stay connected with Jesus. That's all it took for the enemy to begin working.. I somehow was watching lots of videos about illuminati & the end times.. For two days I did this without reading much scripture or praying very much.. With all this in place, I've had this overwhelming fear.. This sense that we're all too far gone.. We've been brainwashed our whole lives by the media.. Having thoughts that because of that, it blocks us from the real understanding of scripture.. All kinds of things going through my mind... I haven't listened to any other radio station except Klove in 2 years due to the obvious lyrics that offend the Holy Spirit, but because I know they are all involved with illuminati. Now, I no longer will listen to 90% of the artists on Klove... Or watch anything Disney... Really anything mainstream I will avoid..I'm confident in these choices, but it's so different.. Just seeing how corrupt & blind this world is.. I want to get a house way out deep in the country & learn how to live very simply.. What are yalls thoughts on this?

Hi Mary, again, I haven't researched this much. But for me, Leanna summed it up very well on your other post about prepping for the end times: I don't want to live in fear, and I don't think that's God's purpose for me (or for any of us). "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7).
For me, the Bible doesn't teach me to dread or fear the end times or Jesus' second coming; it merely warns me to be alert for it... the Bible teaches me to maintain my relationship with Christ and God NOW, so that when He comes, I'll be ready for it - and also because by maintaining my good relationship with God, I can help lead others to salvation, and I can have a significantly better life in the here and now (He promises that although I have a cross to bear, He will make my burden light).
I don't know a whole lot about the Illuminati, but I just did some rapid (Google) research after seeing your post... Who knows, maybe they do exist... But, I guess I'm just not too concerned about it because I know my God is in control. Even if they exist, they won't touch me because God's angels are protecting me! My God is so much bigger than that... and I know that as long as I am submitting to Him and seeking Him with my whole heart, the enemy MUST FLEE (along with any forces of evil associated with the enemy, from which all evil derives) (James 4:7).
And yes, I believe mainstream media is definitely corrupt, because it is the extension of what is a corrupt world. If you listen to the lyrics of the majority of the music on the radio, it's so obvious - even country music, which I used to think was pretty safe, is in reality tainted because of its obsession with cheating, sex, alcohol, casual romantic relationships, etc... nothing that is edifying, for sure. However, in terms of certain kids movies being corrupt; I'm not sure... I think to a large extent it depends on what we are looking to get out of things. What message are we looking for? What message are we guiding our children to see? For example, for me, Cinderella isn't a great movie because it teaches that parents can be cruel and it teaches girls to fixate on finding the perfect man... We have to be discerning and wise about what we watch or listen to, but I would be cautious about making these choices out of a "fear of avoiding"... moreso I would recommend an attitude of "choosing to grow" - choosing 'entertainment' outlets that will help us grow closer to God.
The reality is that wherever we live, whether in a gigantic and booming city or in a house in the country, there will be forces of evil... Us moving physically does not change that. What I think is truly important is to consistently seek closeness with God no matter where we are or what is going on around us. To aim to make God-pleasing choices every single day, over and over again. To seek to honor and glorify Him with our lives, always... And that can be done anywhere!
These are just my thoughts. Again, I encourage you not to surrender to fear... Focus on God and trust that He is our ALL-POWERFUL, ALL-KNOWING protector and savior!

Thank you !! It's very true about not submitting to fear. I've been doing exactly that tho for 2 days. Thankfully this morning when I woke up I instantly felt conviction, repented & have had heartfelt prayer time. Feeling much stronger in the Lord today!! The reason I want to move to the country, is because I would like to learn how to live simply. I feel like the this world makes things that are wrong normal. One of thoes being how excessive we all live. We have been raised & come to know as normal this lifestyle that I'm feeling like keeps us all from experiencing our God in full. Keeps us from not only being connected, but staying connected.. Also, when the last days are here, id like to know that I made wise choices in this life by putting my family in a less kahotic environment. When Russia sends a bomb to America that wipes out our grid, leaving the whole country without any electricity, it's only possible to begin fixing in 18months.. Before were able to, places will catch on fire with no fire trucks or first responders to help.. There will be looters & starvation.. People will be going mad.. Then Russia will attack. I believe this is how it will happen. I do believe God will provide for His people, but if we're all so used to living with the luxury of electricity without even any real knowledge how to survive any other way & off the land, were setting ourselves up for failure. It shows that we trusted our government & technology more than Him, because we refused to learn how to live simply- the way He wants us to live. We refused to educate ourselves on how to take care of our people without the government & our countries grid system.. To live off the land like the Lord intended us to live. I'm getting to a place of no longer being scared, but now just understanding reality.
If you google about Disney & illuminati, it's sickening. No doubt that it's real. They put dirty things in the background during a fast pace short clip, that your conscious mind can't catch (unless you push pause at the right time) but our subconious minds DO pick it up & all though we can't realize it, it's a form of manipulation & brainwash from the enemy through media.. It's crazy! Mind blowing! The Simpsons, beavus & butt head, & multiple other popular shows before the time 9/11 happened, actually predicted 9/11! Google it & u will see the evidence for yourself; it's wild. People are so entangled into it already that they just pass it off as a coincidence.. The word sex is "hidden" in almost every single Disney movie.. The proof is there but this world is already so entangled in it, that even Christ followers refuse to see the corruption for what it is & steer clear of it.. "Oh that's just a coincidence" they say in order to not have to stop watching the movie they grew up with.. In order to feed their flesh.. Or "oh it's just a harmless cartoon" but it's actually not harmless at all.. As long as we're living the same way this world lives, we won't be strong enough spiritually to last in the tribulation & that's the whole point satan had when inventing this illuminati. I do know God is stronger, Almighty, Omega, & dominate over the enemy. In Him we have true & lasting strength. There's a line somewhere between living like the world lives, & living like the Amish live that I believe is where all genuine Christ followers should be. The Amish live off of the land, live simply, & ca easily survive when the grid gets destroyed. But because they shun people, think works are what get u closer to God, & won't even hardly associate with the world or share the gospel, they may be strong physically but they won't be spiritually due to them refusing to accept grace. The world lives close to so much diversity, so many of the lost sheep which is great for us who are fishers of men, but the world follows the media invented by satan, like mindless servents of two masters, & call it all ok & normal. There is a middle between the two where I feel we should be It's by grace alone that a person would leave their current comfortable reality in order to live more closely with the Lord. Just as they all did in the scriptures after they accepted Christ & His grace.. I guess the Lord let me learn all that I've learned because He's doing somthing new in my life.. Now that I'm not submitting to the initial fear of this new info, I feel very strengthened & motivated. I feel like my eyes have been opened all the more

Hey Mary, thanks for your response. This is an interesting discussion!
I understand what you mean about us living excessively... it's true! We have on a large scale fallen into a pretty luxurious lifestyle that certainly isn't necessary. I suggest that you start seeking ways to live more simply right where you are, and maybe one day you can move to the country :-) I don't know if you live in an apartment (like I do) but there are so many things you can do like growing small herb plants in the window, using a drying rack for clothes instead of the dryer, making a more concentrated effort not to waste food, always cooking meals at home with healthy and natural ingredients rather than having processed food or eating out, etc. It is amazing how we can live more simply right where we are and thus honor God by being more financially wise and also more respectful of nature (by administering more wisely the financial and natural resources He has given us), etc.
I also really appreciate the idea of fostering a less chaotic environment. I don't have kids yet, and some of this is out of my control to some extent because of choices that G makes, but again, I think this is something that can begin right where we are... By covering our home in prayer, by modeling the behavior of a true Christ follower in the way we mother our children and treat our spouses as partners, by carefully monitoring the entertainment we allow and by choosing to spend more "active" time rather than "passive" time with our families... i.e. it's more edifying (and thus God-honoring) to sit with our kids and tell them Bible stories rather than just putting them down in front of a random cartoon on the TV. The amazing thing is that Christ has given us authority over our houses, under Him, so we have an amazing level of control over the environment we are creating and maintaining in our homes!
So again, I encourage you to resist a fear mindset (so glad to hear that you are feeling more faithFULL today!), and to keep praying! Ask God for guidance of how He wants you to seek simplicity and bring your family closer to Him each day. :-) You've inspired me to pray more fervently for the same for my own home and marriage too!
