Tithe

Chris texted me at 4:41 this morning (at his overnight shift) to say "We need to sign up for that mobile pay thing at the church. Every paycheck or every first paycheck of the month we need to tithe 10%". Oh my gosh I am so blown away overwhelmed with joy right now. I responded "Okay! Yeah let's set it up together today. What made you want to do that?" He said "I dunno. We need to give to get back. Lord knows we need help". I am just speechless right now. I got up out of bed to pray and praise God and write in my prayer journal. Chris has always been so selfish, and now he wants to be selfless. He heard Gods voice, he is acting out of obedience, and he has faith that it will help us! I am so full of joy. God had told me before that as long as Chris's will was in line with His, I could always trust his judgement and submit and obey. I just can't believe it and I am so excited. 7 years and I'm finally being obedient to a man whose will is in line with Gods in this. Praise the Lord. He is moving huge mountains before us!


Chris has been hearing Gods voice so much on his own recently. Yesterday, he watched a show about Simon Peter on Netflix, where he talked about Jesus to 2 guards in prison. I am amazed by that too, that he's choosing to watch something about Jesus, on his own, when I am not even home! He doesn't probably realize how much he will hear God's voice in something like that. He probably doesn't even realize, for him, that can be a form of Bible Study. I am just so happy, so proud, so excited and joyful. I can't wait to see what God has planned next. Thank you Lord for letting me see this awesome day.
