Praise God I know He's working

I called David on Wednesday and told him I had several things to talk to him about, so he said he would come today. Praise God he actually showed up about 9 this morning. I had my list of things we need to get settled before our court date, but when we sat down to talk I told him before we started talking about all that, I needed to tell him how I was feeling. I told him I still love him and I don't want a divorce. I said that because I love him, I am honoring his wishes for a divorce, but that it was not what I wanted. I said I understand how he could fall out of love with me, because he left for work one week with a few clothes and never came back. He did not have any reminders of me, the kids or his life with him, so he just started a new life. But it wasn't the same for me, because he's everywhere in our house. His clothes are still in our closet, his things are still sitting around, I'm still in the house we raised our family in, with all the memories that come with it. I told him that even though we will be divorced, I am not going to move on with anyone else, so if he ever wants to come home, I'll be waiting for him. He saw the emotion on my face, he heard it in my cracking voice, and he saw a few tears. He just sat there looking at me, and when I finished he just said "ok" but I saw just a hint of his heart softening towards me. Then we moved on to discuss several items and ran some errands before he left. I gave him a hug as he was leaving, and he actually hugged me back. Praise God, He is restoring our relationship...maybe not the marriage yet, but He's restoring our friendship. And we have texted several times since he left. He even told me to enjoy an event I'm attending this weekend. After spending 2 1/2 hours with him, and him hearing my emotional declaration of love, he had to drive 4 hours back to where he's living. I know everything I said was playing in his mind and that My Sweet Lord was whispering in his ear. Oh yeah, before he got here, I verbally ordered Satan out of my house and out of my presence in the power of the name of Jesus! So I know he actually heard what I was saying cause Satan wasn't there twisting my words around.
