Hello all! I am Melissa and I am from New Mexico. I have been happily married to my husband, Zach, for almost 2 years. I won't say it has been easy but it has been worth it. We don't have any kids as of yet, but we hope to start our family soon. In the meantime, we are enjoying being together and doing things we love such as going on weekend trips and hunting.
I was born and raised Church of Christ but when I was 18 I changed denominations and started going to a Baptist church. After losing my dad in 2006 and my mom in 2007 I felt I was growing more Spiritually by attending the Baptist church. In 2003 I was baptized at a
Church camp while I was church of Christ. In April 2015 I realized that I was just going through the motions. I got baptized because it was what I "had" to do. Or so I thought. Fast forward to the beginning of 2015. I started having feelings when the invitation came along in church services. I ignored them for weeks. But on Sunday, April 12th, 2015 a missionary that had been attending our Missions Conference was giving a sermon on 2 Timothy 1:7 about God not giving us a Spirit of fear. I realized that it was out of fear that I had not responded to the feelings. I stepped out and on that day I TRULY accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior. What an amazing day that was!
