Want to start by saying thank you for all your prayers and wisdom. I prayed and fasted Saturday and yesterday i had reaffirmed my stand regardless of my situation. Im feeling better.
From a worldly perspective i only have 91 days from the day i get served. And, well, you guys will love this....so i have some attorney (family law) clients. I texted one of them Saturday to see if i can be served on a Sunday in Colorado. She said i can be served anytime anywhere including church. So my thoughts were initially to avoid being served. I prayed about it and woke up yesterday with the lord putting on my heart to go sbout my life. He gave me peaceful reassurance. So i reconciled with my heart that im not going to avoid it purposefully, but at the same time not make it easy. So i ran errands yesterday the first if which was to get an oil change. ...my jeep has been blaring at me every time i start it. Keepin mind I'm still in tax season. ...no time for anything.
So, a couple of weeks ago i noticed an oil leak on my garage floor. I asked someone about it and they said have them check my oil filter next time i have oil changed. yesterday at Jiffy lube i mention the leak to the guy and he takes pictures underneath to show me. My transfer case is leaking all the way across. My first reaction is negative because even though it would be covered under warranty (only 26000 miles on jeep now) that means that sometime i have to take it to the dealership. Well that put me over the top, because my dealership has terrible customer service and no loaner cars. Ive had several bad experiences with them and on my mind I'm thinking great...here we go again.
After my oil change i went to a different grocery store (remember im not going to make it easy ) On the way there i stopped at a park I've been to a couple of times, parked and went on an hour long walk. That's when i chuckled because god obviously likes my new plan to regarding being served. Since i have a fairly big issue with the jeep, the jiffy lube guy explained it will take several days for the dealership. That's when i realized it is all God's plan, because I'll be in a rental car the rest of the week! God's not going to make it easy for them either. I just love his faithfulness!
On a serious note, this week will be challenging. ...there is a 14 day window of something that my husband has to due regarding divorce papers, which puts us at this coming Friday. it seems like the time is short for God to step in and for my husband to turn, but that is my prayer. William, i agree with you that a worldly piece of paper doesn't matter in God's eyes.
