My friend David

So I'm at odds with what to do. Due to some trials my husband went through a few months ago he fell behind on some bills and things because his money wasn't coming in as usual. Which is what's making us have to move out of our apartment and into my parents place so suddenly in the next two days. I know within a few months we can be debt free. Our friend David, who moved in with us a few weeks ago, has no place to go though. His mom's boyfriend (or ex boyfriend now, I'm not sure) isn't wanting him to move back in. He doesn't have a job he just has his truck and food stamps. And apparently no one he knows is able to let him stay for a few months until my husband and I can get another place. I've researched and called as much as I can to give him as many options as I can think of or find. But from what my husband tells me, he might be living in his truck for a while. I feel awful. I'm in tears because I want to help but I don't know what else to do. My husband told me it's not my fault, that I've done what I can and it's up to him to decide what to do. I'm praying that the Lord makes a way. I just don't know what to do. What can I do in this situation? If we stay in this apartment we're owing more money than we if we move out and it'll take longer to be debt free. I know this is God's plan for all of us, I just feel so awful.
