Dear friends,
It seems a lot of us are weathering some hard points in our storms here lately.
I have been really busy with school and so I haven't spent as much time with God as I need to recently. It's starting to wear on me but I'm "awake" now and aiming to get right back on track. Accordingly, I'm feeling quiet lately but am lifting you all up in prayer, always.
I want to remind everyone to stay strong in prayer. Don't let the enemy's lies get to you... remember that he wants to tear us down but our God is on our side defending us! We can't ever lose sight of that or the enemy wins!
That being said, tonight the sermon was in Hebrews, and these verses stuck out to me:
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:1-2).
I know sometimes it's hard and/or unfruitful to look at our spouses during this mess and hurt. But it is always a good idea to look at GOD. Eyes on Him, my friends.
God bless.
