After being on the klove app in the group for Marriage I haven't been on this yet, and I got it working:) The last time I reported to you all, I was praying for the divorce to not Get finalized and to be stopped, but sadly that didn't happen. Monday was the day, and I wasn't in court for it to go down. I Did speak to my husband when he was walking into the court house, and I cried and got off the phone with him. I am really trying not to be offended and feel anything but love towards it all..but now, I am no longer bound to him... How horrible. Satan won that day. But I Continue to praise the God who changed my heart.

I'm very sorry Leah. I will pray for you. But The Lord will bring good out of this. He uses everything for his good even if it's hard to see it right now. God is our ultimate comforter. He will mend your heart and bring you peace.

Leah, Easter morning as I was reading a familiar story in the bible, God revealed to me a truth & showed me how to apply it to my situation. The story was of Lazarus dying and Jesus restoring him. Jesus healed so many people, it was something He was constantly doing. Yet when he heard Lazarus was sick, He intentionally waited until Lazarus had died before He started the journey back to Mary & Martha's home. He stated His reason was so people would SEE THE GLORY and not be able to deny it. Everyone knew Lazarus was dead, no one could pretend that medicine had healed him. And both M & M told him they knew He could have healed Lazarus if He had been there. They knew His power, and they trusted Him. But, He let them suffer the grief of their brothers death so they would better arppreciate their relationship with both their brother and Him. Sometimes God restores marriages while they are still sick, couples are fighting, separated, etc. And sometimes God doesn't get the glory - people will comment "they worked it out." But sometimes, God resurrects a dead marriage, one that has ended in divorce. And people are more aware of God's hand in it.
I know everyone on this forum would give the glory to God - we're all believers and know God's power. And God's ways are so much higher than ours, there are so many people He is trying to reach. Perhaps there is someone, besides you and your husband, who will see your marriage get 'resurrected' instead of 'restored' that will better understand God's glory.
My court date is April 22 - and I pray God intervenes and stops this divorce. But if He doesn't, I still believe His promise of a restored marriage, and maybe there is someone watching who will see God's Glory first hand. Just a thought.

Leah, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Be patient. God knows what He’s doing. He can see the end result. You can’t. All the problems, heartaches, difficulties, all the things that make you ask “why me " one day it will all be clear in the light of God’s love. But right now you have to trust God.

P that was a wonderful word! So awesome that God gave you that revelation! Leah, I agree with everyone else. Lean not on your own understanding. Sometimes God wants us to walk in true blind faith. Is it hard? Yes but he never gives us anything we can't handle and he helps us bear the weight. God is with you and will guide you. Give your sorrow, hurt, and burdens to God so that you can pick up His goodness, mercy, and grace.
