"Sittin around"

Not sure why decided to post this, I always end up writing words down or making music, painting etc-it's kind of an outlet for me. Anyways here it is.

I've been sittin around doin some thinkin
I wasn't able to see beyond myself.
All I saw was my life, my wrongs & my hurtin.
Wondering about the whys, how's and should'as
Now your there & I am here...
We were one and now a possibly none.

I couldn't stop it...we always ended up in a fight.
Cause I saw was my life, my wrongs & my hurtin.
Now your there & I am here...
Was beaten, broken and no strength to move...
Got up to my knees said "God are you there?"
I don't want my life, my wrongs or my hurtin...
No more whys, how's or should'as.
I've done so wrong...
my wife & I were one...God, I want to fight & not be a none.
But how can that be with all that I've done?
Through many nights a cryin and prayin...for God to forgive me for betraying his angel from Heaven.
Listen to the quiet...no sounds at all...
bending at the knees beaten & broken.
God speaks to those who are lost...
just open your heart and search you see?
It was never just you...but also was He,
Lookin down and doing His thinkin.
"My child you were never lost, remember it was Jesus who paid your cost.
Now turn to me, surrender it all...
Read my words...and walk my path...
Have no fear, for I will be close.
The path you are on is the one I chose.
Don't worry about your spouse, it's in my plan.
What I have joined can never be broken..."
