I made it here everyone. I am very broken and desperate. Almost as if I was new to this standing thing. The enemy has the strongest hold ever on me and my mind, but also on Lucas. I don't know what is even happening and have barely even been able to pray for myself- much less my prayer list. I had reconciliation in my hand and now it is as far away as ever before- myself to blame for much of it. I let the devil get a foothold in my mind. The temptation to sign up for a dating site to have someone to talk to get me through this is like never before. I recognize the enemy all over this and he is winning. The discord and strife is so thick. He has me helpless on the floor. In Jesus name, I plead to get back up.

Hi Annie! Welcome. ...glad you found us! I'm praying for your strength and discernment. Its hard to stay focused on God when life is swirling out of control all around us. God will not forsake you. God's got this. You need to pray, fight the evil one and trust in the lord.

Hi, Annie, welcome! I'll be praying for you. Ask for God to give you peace in your mind and spirit, and comfort for your heart. It's hard to fight a battle.when you're weary. Take time to rest in Him and push past all the negativity and attacks. God will turn this around for his glory.

Welcome Annie remeber this simple verse... Psalm46:10 Be still, and know that I am God. I know it is hard to not get "caught up" in our storm, I try and remeber it's like walking thru a mountainous area; there will be highs, lows, plateaus, sometimes you feel sheltered from the wind and rain others your in the middle of it. Some days can see the sun other times it's dark, but know in your heart that God is there with us and no matter how hard or dark it may seem the sun always comes out again.

Annie! I'm so glad you made it over here! It hurts to see you hurting though. I will be praying with what you've said in mind!
I think we all have these rock-bottom moments where it *seems* like the enemy is winning and the battle is just lost! But remember, you've already read the end of the book and GOD WINS! He wins over this entire world, and that includes in our marriages. His will is supreme! Do not ever let the enemy convince you otherwise! The enemy knows that you are a believer and that is why he wants to take you down; he knows that you feel alone and that's why he tries to tempt you with things like the dating site. But the truth is that we are never alone, because the HOLY SPIRIT abides in us! Jesus Himself dwells in us through the Spirit!
It is easy to feel like we are alone in this world but that's simply not true (it's one of the enemy's favorite lies). I encourage you to lean heavily on God, and I know He will be there for you. Ask Him for peace and trust in your heart and know that He will defend you.
A verse that has really stood out for me lately is James 4:7 -- "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
I know you are tired and worn and drained Annie... but God will give you rest and hold you up... sometimes it takes hitting that moment where we have absolutely no strength left to realize that He has been there beside us all along keeping us from falling.
Dear God, I lift Annie and Lucas up to you today. I thank you for their lives and for their marriage, for Annie's belief in you and desire to serve you and to love her husband in a way that honors you. I ask you please Lord to guide them both today. Lift them up from the mire so that they can see your amazing light. Call deeply into their hearts so that they know that they are not alone, but rather that you surround them at every moment and always hear their pleas. I especially left Annie's doubts and fears into your light, Lord. Please cleanse her heart and mind of this crippling fear and grant her a peace that surpasses all understanding. Show her that she can rest easy in you, my God, and breathe calm and increased faith into her soul. Cast away all influences of the enemy over her life and her marriage and glorify yourself in her home and heart, please Lord! I ask all this in accordance with your will and in recognition of your awesomeness, in Jesus' name, amen.

Matthew 16:23-27 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.
Annie you have to verbally tell Satan to back off in Jesus name. He can not hear thoughts but he will flee at command when you use Jesus name. I am praying sister.

Thank you all. I have been praying these prayers and reading scripture. Trying hard not to contact him. This is very hard after being so close. I still just feel hopeless in this moment and that is really tough on such a great day. I just wanted my family together today and here we are not even speaking. The pain is like grief. I feel like he dies each time he walks out.

Sharon, I went to read the devotion you referred to and it was the same one I had read earlier today!! How awesome! It actually wasn't a Charlyne Cares but Max Lucado. It is an awesome devotional that really helped me. I think God definitely wanted me to read it as you pointed me to it and I had already read it once today! Thank you dear!

I love that! God repeats himself in his word when he's trying to emphasize a point and he's the same today as he was then, so he's definitely speaking this to you. I am so glad to see him speaking to you!
