Hi Erika thank you so much for your response and testimony. Sharing that really gives me hope for my own marriage. This has been so hard for me but I've learned so much about myself and what I needed to do to be a better person and wife for my husband. I'm praying constantly and trusting in God. My husband has said some of the same things... that he just wants his freedom right now. He's been so back and forth and that hurts. You're right though, I was led here for a purpose. I had a little meltdown and then I saw this website recommended to me on first 5, so I know that God is telling me to hold on. I can't wait to come here and share my own testimony!

Hi TK thank you do much for your powerful words!! I agree, God definitely led me here and I'm so glad because I was having a meltdown something serious ha. A person on first 5 told me about ya'll and I'm do happy they did! I appreciate your take on my situation so much. I have read War Room but not watched the movie but I plan on watching it soon. The book is amazing! I'll be praying for your marriage too! God bless!!

Don't ever doubt God's power and don't listen to people who talk about 'free will'. God transformed Saul into Paul, which is not what Saul was wanting at the time - he was very happy persecuting the Christians. But in a flash, God transformed him and he was never the same again. What God did for Saul/Paul, He will do for our spouses! Praise God!!

Thank you pstokes that's my problem, listening to other people, I think. I get people saying... well your husband has free will, he will do what he wants and God can only do so much. People also tell me to divorce my husband, he's not worth being with, you can find someone better. It's so upsetting because the way he's acting right now, that's not who my husband is. I've been led to stand and that's what I'm doing. If I have to do it alone I will, but luckily I've been led to this group and all these standers... we're all on each other's side!! So I don't have to give up I'm gonna keep on standing and trusting in God!!

It is completely natural for people to look at our situations and thing hopelessness. We're having faith and putting our trust in an unseen God and logically, it won't make sense to many people. It's the spiritual gift of faith, but I'm sure with the call to stand, God will reveal truths and promises for your future that will help to strengthen your faith and carry you forward. He loves us and he wants best for us and our marriages

Unfortunately I've had to remove some people from my life. Others I have told that if they can't support my stand I will not discuss my situation with them. Basically it's all about being obedient to God. And I've also been told there's only so much God can do ... Are you kidding me?? The God who created this universe is limited in what He can do?? My husband is being used and tormented by the evil one, but My God is more powerful!
