I just joined the group a few minutes ago.
A few months ago I discovered my wife having an affair. I was and still am devastated. We are living apart. I love my wife and want my family back. She does not. I am happy to say we are currently spending time together (dinners, walks, errands, etc), now that she is not "currently" with the other guy. We were not equally yoked when were married, but she did come to Christ. Unfortunately she has rejected Him and claims be be non-believer. I ask for prayers for: First and foremost, God's desire for our marriage. That she would come to Christ. A restoration of our marriage and family. To completely dissolve the relationship between her the other man - and that he would return to his wife.
Thank you all!

Lord I pray over Kyle and his family. You know his heart and his wifes heart and you see the deep sorrow that Kyle feels and you also see the emptiness in his wife. Lord we know that she is trying to fill a place in her heart with the world that rightfully belongs to you. I pray that Kyle would be blessed with your wisdom - that he can be a reflection of your love to her and that she would see the light in him and be drawn back to you like a moth to the flame, because of the light he displays. I pray that you would dissolve the bitter root that has grown in Kyle, that he can see his wife through your eyes. She is a fallen human as we all are. Give him a longing to display grace and forgiveness to her. Help him to keep his eyes focused on you. Please be his great comforter

I'm praying for you and your family. I know the hardest thing is to give it all to God. But I've learning the hard way that it is the only way. It's God's job not yours. You (as well as I) need to focus on our relationship with our Father. We still stand and pray continuously for our spouses. But leave it to Him. God can do what we can't. Father please help my brother and I. We hurt and want our families back for the better, living for you. Heal us, draw us near, fill us with Your spirit. Give us Your peace and understanding. In Jesus' name amen.

Brother, I will be praying for you and your wife and family. Stay strong and steadfast in prayer and seeking God. Do not be discouraged by your wife saying she is a "non-believer" I feel that is her defense mechanism especially since you said she did find Christ prior. The enemy is clouding her mind. Continue to show her Gods love, forgiveness, mercy and grace through your words and actions. Everyone of us carries the burdens of our prodigals but we do so by seeking our Father relying on his strength and guidance.
I am sorry for the storm you are in but know brother you are not alone, and you have gained a tight family on here, and I am thankful that God led you here to this site. If you every need someone to talk to let me know and I can give you my email/cell #.
Psalm 119:28 My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word.
