I am not familiar with a forum app for mobile devices, but some searching today and I have found tapatalk. You can find it on Android and Apple store for free. You can log into the forum and follow it, and then favorite the different boards to be notified of people making posts. So far it seems to work fairly well. I pray you all are having a blessed day.

Hi Eric! How would that be different from this? I can access this on my phone's web browser pretty easily and I like that I can use my computer too. But whatever will be easiest for the group is what we should do! :-)

The app would link to this forum, just a bit easier than navigating a web browser on most mobile devices. Just another option for a way to log into this. If you are comfortable with using the web browser, you can stick with that. I was just test the waters for another way to access the same content. I like having the option of using my PC when I am at home, rather than my phone.
I never liked that replies were always a wall of text, rather than being able to space them out, and add paragraphs, etc like I wanted to.

Once you download and install tapatalk, if you open your mobile web browser, and go to the forum. standingformarriage.freeforums.net at the top of the webpage will be a little icon to open in the tapatalk app. Once in there, you can follow the forum, and go into the General board. If you click the little plus icon at the top of the screen, you will "subscribe" to that board, and be notified of any new posts, replies, etc.
Again, I am not sure if there are better options out there, this was just the first that I have been able to find that is free to use on both Apple and Android.

When I first got into this forum I must have clicked the x to exit the advertising for that app, because it's not popping up.
Do you know of any other way?
I tried typing the name of this forum once I was in the app, but that was a no go.

Mary, I will have to check my iPad when I get off work. From what I am reading it interacts slightly different on Apple devices than Android. With Android you go to the webpage and it will automatically pull the app up, but Apple apparently doesn't work that way. But we will get it squared away. |

Mary, I think the forum directory has finally updated. If you try to search inside the tapatalk app for "standingformarriage.freeforums.net" it should list the forum as one of the options. It should have a black and white family icon. You should be able to select that and follow it. You should get little pop-ups for use tips from there inside the app.
