I think we need to take a few minutes to lift each other up. I had a friend the other day (mind you she doesn't know the problems in my marriage) tell me about how she wants what I have - a husband and a family and a home. I couldn't believe how foolish I've been to want more when I have so much. So I think it would be appropriate to "compliment" one another and remind each other of the things that we DO have, so we can keep our eyes focused on what is lovely, admirable, praise worthy. Comment here with a compliment for a friend! What do you see in their lives that they have been blessed from God with?

Mary, a couple compliments for you! I know things are hard, but you have some awesome kids who really love and really need you! You have a dad who loves you enough to give you a home to live in. God has blessed you sister!
Eric, God blessed you with a family of in laws who have taken up for you and provided you with a place to stay, despite the trouble in your marriage. You are loved and cared for by extended family and God is providing and will continue to provide.
Deuteronomy 6:10 - 12 says "When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you - a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive grove you did not plant - then when you eat and are satisfied, be careful that you do not forget the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery."
Guys I didn't build my house with my own hands, I didn't grow the food in my fridge, and in fact I didn't have to fill my house with a fridge, because it was here when I got here. We are living in Gods promised land and as many problems as we have in our marriages, we have SO many things to be grateful and thankful for. Lets focus on those things. Lets turn our eyes from our wayward spouses and allow God to bless that area in our lives too by taking control of it. We can't fix it, but we can pray with Faith that he will restore what is lost.

Sharon, I absolutely love this idea! Thanks for sharing your beautiful thoughts and bringing a light of encouragement to the group :-)
Here are some happy thoughts for some great friends:
*Annie* - Girl, you are such a determined soldier! I have seen you face some really tough battles here lately, but you consistently cling to the Lord, even when you are tempted to give up on your stand! You have beautiful children who love you and need you, and you are blessed to be able to care for them and shower love on them each day!
*Eric* - My friend, I really admire you because you always have a calm word of wisdom, strength, and faith at the ready, and I know that's a sign of a solid man of God. I know you have had your low moments but you are a rock in this group and have been such a powerful source of support for me! I always appreciate your beautiful prayers, and your technological skills too!
*Erika* - You are always very positive and so determined to share your testimony and encourage others! I am encouraged by the transformation in your spouse, your marriage, and your walk with God and it is such a blessing to see God's touch in your life!
*Lindsey* - It is such a blessing that you found our group! I treasure that because I am so grateful that we have been able to get members from outside of our original circle created through the MyKlove app. I admire your strength to continue standing and pursuing God's will despite your husband's current inflexibility. I have faith that your stand is going to become an amazing and glorifying testimony to God's power!
*Leandro* - You are a determined champion and I admire your determination to stick to your convictions and seek out God's will always, even when there are things tempting you away from your stand. It is a blessing that you have a good church community where you can praise God, even though you sometimes face temptations there. I have faith that you will continue to grow in your relationship with God! Dios te bendiga, amigo, que sigas adelante siempre!!
*Leanna* - I don't know if you'll see this as you don't get on much, but you are a blessing to me because you have been such a rock of support from almost the very beginning of my stand. We met a couple years ago now and consistently, you have cared so deeply for your kids and your husband, and you have always sought out God's will! I continue praying for you always, sister!
*Marissa* - You have a beautiful positive spirit and I can see your true desire to seek God and honor your husband. It is such a blessing that your family has opened their home to you both when you were in need, and also that Garrett is striving to make changes and honor you as your wife. I urge you to continue seeking God every day :-)
*Mary* - You are a total champion, my friend!! I appreciate that you are always there standing in prayer and encouraging others. I can see that you have a powerful desire to understand and meet God's will and that you really strive to keep your life open to the Holy Spirit's guidance! Plus, you are blessed with beautiful children who adore you and who you work so hard each and every day for!
*PStokes* (Is your first name Patricia, maybe?) - Like Lindsey, it's an extra special blessing to have you with us since I think you found us through the First Five app rather than through the old MyKlove app that we originally connected on. We are blessed to have you as a voice of encouragement and wisdom! I always appreciate your firm dedication to stay true to God. Even when the going gets tough and you don't know how to feel about your stand, I can see your deep love for your husband and even more than that, your strong desire to please God!
*Sharon* - Girlll, you have been a total champion for me for such a long time! I have always appreciated your fierce wisdom; I can see that God works through you to help guide others and speak empowerment into their (our) lives! I also admire your determination to follow God no matter what and to honor Him through your life and your marriage. You are blessed with beautiful children and also that your family lives nearby and is always willing to help out!
*TK / Timi Kay* - My friend, you are always a ray of love for me! I can feel God's love shining through you on your posts. I'm always grateful for your encouragement and your prayers, and I admire your firm desire to stand by your God and honor him through your life. I can see your lasting love for Dana and your openness to the Holy Spirit, which I admire greatly! And you are blessed with a beautiful daughter and family who love you!
*Wendy* - I don't know if you'll see this because you don't get on very often, but we are blessed that you are part of the group! I appreciate your sense of humor and your determination to keep leaning on God and waiting for His will in your life! And you are blessed with a wonderful son who loves you!
*William* - Hey friend, we miss you around here since you haven't been on for a few days! You are a definite blessing in the group, I appreciate your radiant desire to pursue God always and to encourage and lift your friends up. You have a true gift for encouragement and empathy! You are also blessed with a skill for creative writing / poetry which in turn blesses us all!

Thank you Adrienne! Just to remind you of your blessings too - your husband is at home! Praise God and thank Him for that!!! You have a roof over your head and are working on a high degree right now. Huge blessings that can only be from the Lord. You have an awesome church who gathers around and supports and appreciates you. You have us and we love you and this group would not be what it is without your wisdom, which is another blessing from God. He speaks to you regularly and you know His voice and you choose it constantly. Praise the Lord for these awesome blessings.

I just read this today, I haven't been on because I'm in the lowest point that I have been in my stand. My wife keeps talking to the same guy, I didn't confront her but I told her that I know what was going on and that I forgave her for that. She didn't deny or confirm anything, she just told me to stop waiting for her and that I need to move on. I started going out with that girl from church to drink cofee or just talk about life, I know I shouldn't be doing that but idk what to do. I seriously don't know what is gonna happen with my life, I mean I'm not afraid it's just that I have no idea what is going to happen next. Adrienne thank you for what you wrote about me I'm literally in tears right now in my office, you guys are amazing people and all of you still give me hope that there is still good out there. I think it's been a week of me not praying or seeking the lord, I feel like crap and I really really really can't stand this anymore. I love you guys and all of you are in my thoughts.

Leandro - I'm so sorry that you are at a low point. I think we have all been there at one point. I have realized when I'm feeling low it seems to be when my prayer time is not where it should be and when I'm not really getting into the Word. Keep seeking God and He will sustain you.

William, where are you?! Brother, you have been a huge blessing to me. The fact that you reached out again and again to Chris means more then you will ever know. It's been a blessing to have you in our lives, being an ear for Chris and sharing perspective with me. God has truly blessed you with wisdom. Don't ever get so discouraged that you forget that. God has a huge amazing plan for you and He's using the trials right now to bring that to fruition. You're an awesome man of God. You are not your past mistakes. You are renewed, a brand new creation in the Lord.

Hey Leandro, I agree with P. The enemy tends to attack when I am not focusing on God. I make a bad choice, then make another to try to fix that one, and I begin the downward spiral. The best way to counter it is to take a step back and realize I can not do this in my own strength. I was purposely designed to fail! Because God has a place in my heart that only He can fill, and I have to do life with Him if I want to succeed.

Sister,
I am here, haven't been posting as much lately but don't take that is me wavering... If anything I am getting deeper and deeper in my relationship with God. I have been crying out to God thru prayers for all of you. As far as you and Chris go, I feel the same...it's hard to explain but I feel a connection with Chris & will never stop praying for any of my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I love you all..

I feel our marriages are both in similar places. It's easy for you to empathize with Chris and for me with Allison. I am so glad to hear you have been pressing in! God is so awesome to draw us in our worst places.

Leandro are you feeling stronger after a few days? Trust me I know how it goes when we draw back a bit from God... It only gets that much harder!
William I'm glad to hear you are standing strong. We have missed you around here, brother.
